Note on airtravel:

We want to make your travel as easy and affordable as possible! Here are some tips I've used to find the best airfare:

Book Early but not Too Early: According to Google, the lowest prices for domestic flights typically appear 38 days before departure.
The best window is between 21 and 52 days out. Note: I would check early and often.

Use Fare Comparison Websites: Check platforms like Google Flights, or Skyscanner, to compare prices across airlines.

Set Price Alerts: Most comparison sites allow you to set up alerts to monitor price drops for your preferred dates.

Fly Midweek: Tuesdays and Wednesdays often have lower fares compared to weekends.

Check Nearby Airports: If you're flexible, look at flights to or from alternative airports for better rates.

Bundle Your Trip: Many airlines and travel sites offer discounts when you bundle airfare with a hotel or rental car. Check for package deals!

From Chicago, IL

Distance: Approximately 300 miles

Estimated Driving Time: Around 5 hours

Note: Michigan is +1 hour on Eastern Standard Time. Account for 1 additional hour of travel time.

1. Take I-94 East toward Detroit.
2. Merge onto I-69 East via Exit 108 toward Flint.
3. Take Exit 123 for M-15 toward Davison.
4. Turn left onto M-15 North/S State Road and continue for about 20 miles.
5. Turn right onto Birch Run Road and continue for approximately 5 miles.
6. Odins Owl will be on your left at 8683 Birch Run Road.

Approaching from the South (e.g., Ohio)

1. Navigate to US-23 North toward Flint, MI.
2. Take Exit 136 for Birch Run Road/M-54 toward Frankenmuth.
3. Turn right onto Birch Run Road and continue east for about 15 miles.
4. Odins Owl will be on your right at 8683 Birch Run Road.

From the East Coast (avoiding Canada)

1. Take I-80 West toward Ohio.
2. Merge onto I-90 West toward Toledo, OH.
3. Continue on I-90 West, then merge onto I-75 North toward Detroit, MI.
4. Navigate to US-23 North toward Flint, MI.
5. Take Exit 136 for Birch Run Road toward Birch Run/Frankenmuth.
6. Turn right onto Birch Run Road and continue east for approximately 12 miles.
7. Odins Owl will be on your left at 8683 Birch Run Road.

From the East Coast (through Canada)

Note: Ensure you have the necessary travel documents for crossing the U.S.-Canada border.

1. Take I-90 West toward Buffalo, NY.
2. Cross the Peace Bridge into Canada and continue on Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) toward Toronto.
3. Merge onto ON-403 West toward Hamilton/Brantford.
4. Continue onto ON-401 West toward London.
5. Take Exit 186 for ON-402 West toward Sarnia.
6. Cross the Blue Water Bridge back into the U.S. and continue on I-69 West toward Flint, MI.
7. Take Exit 145 for Center Road.
8. Turn right onto Center Road and continue for about 10 miles.
9. Turn left onto Birch Run Road and continue for approximately 3 miles.
10. Odins Owl will be on your right at 8683 Birch Run Road.
