The Surdel - Hillock Wedding

Our venue, Odins Owl is architecturally inspired from an old world longhouse & mead hall. Our ceremony will be outside and the reception will take place in the hall and on the outdoor patio.
The address is:
8679 Birch Run Rd,
Millington, MI 48746.
Getting There
A complimentary shuttle will run from the Marv Herzog Hotel (Frankenmuth) to the wedding venue before the ceremony begins. Shuttle Departure Times: Guests are also welcome to drive, as there is ample parking at the venue. You may leave your car overnight, but please be sure to pick it up before 10 AM the following day.
For those driving, please enter the main driveway at 8679 Birch Run Rd, Millington, MI 48746. Look for a large sign reading "Odins Owl" and "Baja Acres." Follow the signs to the left for Odins Owl. This will lead you up a hill. You'll pass through a gate, with the motocross track on your right. At the top of the hill, curve right, and Odins Owl will be on your left as you continue to the parking area. When in doubt, drive all the way to the back. There should also be Odins Owl staff to help guide you along. Important Note: We look forward to welcoming you and hope you have a wonderful time! Guests will be asked to line the edges of a path from the back pond area to the ceremony arch. Brian, the groom, will walk this path. As he walks by, you are invited to greet him, embrace him, ask him a question, challenge him, or at the very least join him - parade style - as he makes his way to the ceremony arch. This ritual represents metaphorical tests of character or love, with the journey itself signifying commitment, perseverance, and acceptance by the community - “The Rite of Passage”. Formal Wedding Attire, so be sure to let your best self strut. Personality encouraged! Also, keep in mind our ceremony will take place outside and there is an big outdoor patio connected to the venue that will be open throughout the night. Due to the amount of family and friends invited, we unfortunately are unable to accommodate our younger family members. With love, this will be an adults only celebration. We appreciate your understanding. • Welcome Drink • • Wedding • • Family & Friends Cookout • Open invitation to join us at the Frankenmuth Brewery for a welcome drink and some light appetizers. We will be there from 7-10pm. Please let us know on your RSVP if you plan on attending so we can get a loose idea of a head count. The mother of the bride, Pam, is extending an open invitation for you to join us at her house on Sunday for a lazy brunch. Shake off last night's decisions with some beverages, finger food (& probably wedding leftovers), and yard games. Stacy and Brian hope to celebrate their new marriage in the same way they met.
